Half Term Ski Holidays
A Half Term skiing family holiday in Abruzzo on the slopes of Roccaraso, Italy’s fifth biggest ski resort, will not break the bank. Taking a holiday with a traditional tour operator at Half Term can be an overly expensive business, but this is not the case with Ski Abruzzo.
Hotels and apartments featured on our programme are very family friendly, and offer a true Italian experience, far away from the overcrowded ski resorts of the Alps. The Roccaraso ski area, with over 100 km of linked runs, is perfect for guests who wish to take ski lessons, as well as more experienced skiers. The ski school area at Roccaraso’s Pizzalto base has one of the biggest learner areas in Italy, and by booking ski lessons (group or private) in advance with Ski Abruzzo, English speaking ski instructors are assured.
From €499 per person for a family 4
Getting to the slopes is easy as many of our featured hotels have complimentary door to door guest shuttles and for those that don’t there is a scheduled shuttle from Roccaraso and Rivisondoli, free for Ski Abruzzo guests.
Many hotels offer generous discounts for children under 12 when sharing a room with two adults. You can choose from a range of carefully selected 3 and 4 star family run hotels and apartments from our programme.
How long you choose to stay is up to you – we believe in giving our customers what they want. Saturday to Saturday, the traditional 7 night stay, is popular and increasingly so is Sunday to Saturday, for 6 nights. So long as you stay for a minimum of three nights, subject to availability, we can assist with your half term ski holiday.
Our packages include airport transfers from Naples, Pescara or Rome (Naples is our recommendation if possible) and accommodation. In addition guests can book ski school in advance, and this is strongly recommended for half term week, when there is high demand for English speaking ski instructors.
We do not sell flights, as there is such a wide choice. However, buying flights at half term to any of the above airports is much cheaper than buying them to ski airports elsewhere such as Geneva, Innsbruck or Verona. Click here for more information on flights and transfers.
